Frequently asked questions
What does a Wi-Fi site survey show?
A survey maps signal strength, noise, interference and channel use across your floor plan as heatmaps. It shows exactly where coverage is weak, where access points interfere with each other and why devices drop, so changes are based on measurements instead of guesses.
Will the survey disrupt classes or work?
The survey is mostly a walk-through with a handheld tester. Your network stays up while I measure, so lessons and work carry on as normal.
Do you only survey Aruba networks?
The survey tools measure any Wi-Fi network, whatever the brand. My hands-on configuration work for small sites is on Aruba Instant On; for other brands, the report and recommendations still apply.
What do I get at the end?
A written report with heatmaps, the problems found and a prioritised redesign plan covering access-point placement, channels and power. If you want, I can make the changes on Aruba Instant On and re-survey to confirm the improvement.
Do you survey outside Dubai?
Yes, anywhere in the UAE, including Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates. Surveys need someone on-site, so they are UAE only.
