When spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups stop scaling, a small internal web app usually fixes it. Frequently asked questions
Why Supabase?
Supabase gives you a real Postgres database, authentication and row-level security, so access rules are enforced by the database itself. It means an internal app can be secure and quick to build without running your own servers.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. The apps are responsive and can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA), so staff open them from the home screen like a native app, with no app store needed.
Who owns the app and the data?
The Supabase project and the code repository can sit in accounts you control, so the data stays yours and another developer could pick the app up later.
How long does an internal app take?
It depends on how many workflows it covers. Most projects start with the one process that hurts most, ship that first, and add the rest in stages.
